Argo Hotel in Platys Gialos (Mykonos)

Argo Hotel began in 1977, when Thodoris Kousathanas created one of the first hotels in Platis Gialos. Thanasis Kousathanas, the current owner and manager, grew up inside the hotel. The hotel has two swimming pools, a Pool Bar, and a buffet breakfast, with traditional Cycladic architecture preserved through renovations.

Superior Double Rooms have a separate living room, and Superior Outdoor Jacuzzi rooms add a private outdoor hot tub. Standard Rooms are Pool View units, while Family Rooms contain one double bed and two singles or two double beds. Two Bedroom Apartments and Superior Two Bedroom Apartments include a small kitchen, a living room, and a private balcony.

Platis Gialos Beach is 100 meters away, with sun beds, restaurants, water sports, and taxi boats to Ornos, Psarrou, Paradise, Paranga, Super Paradise, Agrari, and Elia. The bus stop to Mykonos Town is 50 meters from the hotel, and a mini market and bakery sit just outside. Delos, one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, is a short ferry ride from Mykonos.

Avli tou Thodori restaurant sits directly on the sand of Platis Gialos Beach and serves local flavors. The hotel's buffet breakfast is served each morning. The Pool Bar is next to the swimming pools.
